Cancellation & Refund Policy

Metal Roofing Homes offers roofing services for properties in New York and Pennsylvania only. Service availability is confirmed for each property. These website policies do not expand that service area.

This policy applies to residential roofing purchase and installation agreements for properties in New York and Pennsylvania. Your agreement identifies the contracting installer and the project terms. Applicable consumer rights take precedence over any conflicting contract or website language.

For covered New York home-improvement contracts, you may cancel until midnight of the third business day after signing by giving written notice to the contractor. A properly addressed, postage-paid notice sent by mail is effective when deposited in the mail. A qualifying emergency may have different rules, including a specific written waiver. See New York General Business Law § 771 and the cancellation notice in your contract.

For contracts covered by Pennsylvania’s Home Improvement Consumer Protection Act, you may cancel without penalty within three business days of signing, regardless of where the contract was signed, subject to applicable emergency exceptions. Cancellation may be communicated in writing, by telephone, or in person, provided the contractor receives actual notice within the cancellation period. Notify the installer named in your signed agreement within the applicable cancellation period, using the requirements for your state described above. When you validly exercise a statutory cancellation right, payments must be returned within the time required by applicable law. Contract terms about custom materials do not override a non-waivable cancellation or refund right.

After the cancellation window closes, cancellation and refund terms are governed by your installer's contract. Because Interlock systems are made to order, custom orders may be non-refundable once in production. Warranty coverage is separate and governed by The Guardian Warranty.

Cancellation is different from warranty or defect claims. For product or coating issues, see The Guardian Warranty; for workmanship, contact your installing contractor. This policy does not limit any non-waivable consumer rights.
